Match Review now explains how you and your teammates' gameplay shaped wins and losses.

  • Impact Story highlights each team's winning-impact or loss-shaping leader.
  • Impact Breakdown compares impact contribution categories across players.
  • Match Impact uses deterministic replay facts rather than Rocket League scoreboard totals alone.

Match analysis updates and My Reviews

Gameplay Profile quality updates

We updated the match analysis engine that powers detected Player Moments, Gameplay Profile, and Demonstrated Rank to improve accuracy in explaining what the uploaded replay showed.

  • Improved touch detection and player touch attribution for contested and fast-moving plays.
  • Improved ball control play recognition for air dribbles, ground-to-air transitions, and control plays that happen across different arena surfaces.
  • Updated arena boundary awareness to improve wall and ceiling usage GameLytics.
  • Updated Demonstrated Rank scoring baselines for ranked doubles and ranked standard.

Demonstrated Rank quality updates

Gameplay Profile details now use clearer benchmark guidance for each GameLytic rating.

  • Signals where lower values are better now include that context in the rating guide.
  • Reviews uploaded before August 10, 2026 should be uploaded again to use the newest analysis.

Match Analysis Review Management

We added new features to make it easier to return to previous uploads and understand a match at a glance.

  • Added My Reviews so players can quickly reopen recent match reviews.
  • Added the ability to delete older reviews when reaching preview service limits.
  • Added Gameplay Summary insights to highlight important match statistics at a glance.

Demonstrated Rank transparency

Gameplay Profile evidence

We improved the Demonstrated Rank experience so players can see more of the replay-derived GameLytics behind their Gameplay Profile.

  • Added expandable Gameplay Profile areas for Play Engagement, Touch Impact, Boost Management, and Boost Decisions.
  • Added supporting GameLytics with match values, rank ratings, and baseline range guidance.
  • Clarified that Demonstrated Rank reflects the gameplay shown in the uploaded replay, not a replacement for MMR-based, official competitive rank.

Replay reliability and parser coverage

Key moment improvements

We improved how PlayVant identifies and classifies key gameplay moments in Rocket League replays.

  • Improved challenge classification, including won, lost, and neutral challenges.
  • Reduced false missed-play moments caused by arena bounces and wall interactions.
  • Improved handling for wall plays, continuation plays, defensive coverage, and teammate-taken plays.
  • Expanded regression coverage using visually reviewed replay examples.

Parser coverage expansion

We improved replay parsing coverage for more Rocket League replay formats.

  • Improved support for older replay files.
  • Improved support for RLCS-style replay files.
  • Improved handling for replay formats that previously failed during parsing.

Preview usage updates

We adjusted preview limits and upload messaging based on early community usage.

  • Replays that fail during parsing no longer count against the daily upload limit.
  • Daily upload limit increased to 2 replay uploads per day.
  • Upload messaging now more clearly explains which replay types support Demonstrated Rank.
  • Failed replay processing now includes a clearer report-this-issue path.

Demonstrated Rank preview

PlayVant introduced Demonstrated Rank, an estimated Rocket League rank based on replay-derived gameplay signals from a specific match.

  • Added Demonstrated Rank for supported ranked doubles and ranked standard replays.
  • Added selected-player and lobby-average Demonstrated Rank.
  • Added Gameplay Profile breakdowns in Match Review.
  • Added clearer messaging when Demonstrated Rank is not available for a replay.
